A possible knight in shining armour...

Okay so yesterday Andrea came overto spend the night. That was a lot of fun. She kinda in the dumps though becuase Brent (her bf) left 2 weeks ago for basic marines training... so yeah and then one of their friends came over after work to hang out with us for a while... this is the reason for this blog.

His name is Brett (not to be confused with Brent) and he's 19. He is so sweet and easy to talk to... the 3 of us ended staying up until after 4 am talking last night! He's really sensitive but not a wuss. We got to talking about Danielle a little bit and I started crying and he started to tear up a little bit... I just got a sense when he walked through the door... ya know? He has a little boy named Ethan who is 2. Some of you are probably now like ahh, what? but Ethan's mom is the only girl that Brett has ever 'been' with and he's been abstinent for over 14 months, so I definately respect that. Plus he realizes that it was a mistake but he's a good father... He's just an all around great guy, and I'm really falling for him, which i know is soon, but I already know a lot about him and he's one of my best friend's best friends so it's not like i'd be going in completely blind. The only thing though, is that he has a girlfriend. They haven't been going out long though. Andrea doesn't think that they'll last long. He's the kind of guy that likes to spend a lot of time with his girlfriend and shes not apparently. I'm trying really hard to not screw anything up, and to just let whatever happens happen, but those of you who know me know that that is really hard for me to do. I have a really good feeling so its hard to not get my hopes up, but I really need to just chill and let things flow. Pray that things go well this time, or at least that they don't turn out like the whole Danny thing.

I love you all,
Rachel Elizabeth

P.S. I found out recently that I am not going to Italy this summer. My uncle will be moved out of the base by summer because the italians do not want them there. Oh well, maybe next year though.
